HoYeon Jung, has officially become the new face of Louis Vuitton fashion, watches, and jewelry. The 27-year-old star who plays Kang Sae-byeok (No. 067) in Squid Game — the new record-breaking series of Netflix — has become the most popular Korean actress on Instagram, gaining over 19 million followers in less than a month (from 400k to 19.7m).
The French high fashion house announced their partnership with Jung on Wednesday 10/06/2021. With an Instagram post with Jung wearing Louis Vuitton’s new black Twist bag in the campaign with a double-breasted coat (white oversized jacket with gold buttons and gold detailing on the collars and sleeves) and slingback heels.
I immediately fell in love with HoYeon’s great talent and fantastic personality, and I am looking forward to starting this new chapter of the journey we started at Louis Vuitton a few years ago.
The Korean model and actor made her Paris Fashion Week debut as an exclusive in Louis Vuitton’s 2017 spring ready-to-wear show, walking the runway in a corset leather dress and fiery red hair. She has also walked for Chanel Haute Couture, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, and Prabal Gurung, among other brands.
