At the Met Gala 2021, held on September 13th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, our celebrities gave us unforgettable fashionable looks.
Especially Kim Kardashian! Her look was the most unforgettable, yet most criticized one of the fashionable evening, and rightly so.

Covered from head to toe by a black color Balenciaga bodysuit. She even covered her face in a black fabric mask! Kim Kardashian paired her dark look with jersey boots and jersey gloves. Also – you probably guessed – in black. Even though Kim Kardashian could hardly see around, she definitely was seen!
Kim Kardashian (41 years old) got all the spotlights directed to her, even without showing her face (as a matter of fact, over the last few years, we’re used to Kanye West’s and Kim’s “face-covered” public appearances).
We learned that her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic had performed his art on her face for the Gala, but nobody noticed – or better said: could possibly notice!

The theme of the Met Gala 2021 was ‘American Independence’; not sure if Kim Kardashian got the note. Unless it was her way of making a statement for the ‘American Independence’(?). Only her ponytail was visible. Some comments compared her to a Dementor in Harry Potter.
Fortunately, Kanye West put the excitement (anxiety?) to rest, and explained it all: ‘This look on Kim is like a new subculture and fashion statement. No logo, no face, but everyone knows it’s her’.
Who would have guessed! Kudos.
